Dermaplaning

Gentle exfoliation that removes dead skin cells and fine facial hair for smoother skin.

What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a superficial exfoliation treatment designed to remove dead skin cells and fine facial hair, leaving the skin feeling smoother. It may be included in selected facial and skincare programs depending on your skin.

Who is it for? Dull skin, fine facial hair ('peach fuzz'), rough texture, and anyone wanting make-up to sit more smoothly. Not suitable over active acne.

How it works

A sterile surgical blade is used with gentle strokes to lift dead skin cells and fine vellus hair from the surface. It is often combined with a facial or peel so products can work better.

Aftercare

  • Wear sunscreen daily
  • Avoid exfoliants for a few days

Frequently asked questions

Will hair grow back thicker?

No. Fine vellus hair grows back the same; dermaplaning does not change hair thickness.

Does it hurt?

No — it feels like a gentle stroking sensation.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Often yes, after assessment. It isn't done over active acne or irritated skin.

How often can I have it?

Every 4–6 weeks.
